Christopher Lee (Chris) Kattan (born October 19, 1970 in Sherman Oaks, California to a Sephardic Jewish father and a Hungarian mother) is a comedian, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2003. He made A Night at the Roxbury with fellow cast member Will Ferrell in 1998.
His impressions included Antonio Banderas, Al Pacino, David Gest, and CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour. His recurring characters included Mr. Peepers, Mango, Azrael Abyss, and Gay Hitler.
Chris Kattan has said in interviews that prior to becoming an actor, he aspired to be a bear wrestler, until an elbow injury forced him down the road of theatre.
Despite frequently playing homosexuals Chris is adamant that he is not really gay.
