Elizabeth Hurley was born on June 10, 1965, in Hampshire, England, the daughter
of an army officer and an elementary school teacher mother. Originally wanting
to be a professional ballerina, Elizabeth Hurley attended ballet boarding school
at age 12, but soon returned home. During her college years, Hurley attended the
London Studio Centre to which she won a scholarship to study dance and theater.
After college, Elizabeth Hurley pursued acting full-time. She has succeeded in
both theater, on-screen acting, modeling, and producing.
In 1987, she starred in a film with Hugh Grant (Remando al
Viento). Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant began a 13-year relationship which
eventually ended over Hugh Grant's unwillingness to have children. One year
after their breakup in 2001, Elizabeth Hurley began a romance with movie
producer and millionaire Stephen Bing. She gave birth to their son, Damian
Charles, on April 4, 2002. As Bing denied that Damian was his child, although
DNA testing has since proven that he is indeed the father, Hurley and Bing are
no longer together. Elizabeth Hurley is currently engaged to Indian textile
magnate Arun Nayar.
