Tara Reid was born on November 8, 1975 in Wyckoff, New Jersey, to
Tom and Donna, teachers who run their own daycare centers. Her career started at
an early age. When she was six, she appeared on the children's game show
Child's Play (1982). She also appeared in Jell-O, McDonald's, and Crayola
commercials. She attended the Professional Children's School in New York City
with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jerry
O'Connell and Macaulay Culkin. Tara has two
brothers. Tommy Reid owns his own production company, and Patrick Reid owns his
own clothing store in Santa Monica, California, for which Tara serves as a
fashion consultant.
Tara Reid's breakthrough film role was as 'Bunny' in The Big
Lebowski (1998), and she is also well known for her role in American Pie
(1999) and American Pie 2 (2001). Tara has just completed Wicked Prayer and is
currently working on Land of Canaan. Both films will be released in 2005.
In addition, Tara has her own production company called 'Hi Happy Films.' Tara
is also the first person to appear on multiple covers of Maxim
magazine.
Tara dated Carson Daly from 2000 to 2001. They were actually
engaged, and their breakup was so upsetting and traumatic for Tara that she
suffered from anorexia nervosa until late 2001. Tara was New England Patriots'
quarterback Tom Brady's guest at the opening game of the 2002 NFL season, and
she is reportedly dating Baltimore Ravens' quarterback Kyle Boller.
